The Baseball and Life Skills Camp is a unique blend of instruction in baseball and life from a Christian Biblical perspective. The goal is to help each young man build confidence both on and off the field. An attempt to answer a question like “What is the most important thing in life?” will be tackled through interactive discussion.Students will work on their baseball skills throughout the day.Instruction and practice in hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing and base running, to name a few, will be covered.Defensive skills and throwing will be emphasized in the morning as well as a discussion focusing on human nature and the choices we make in this world. After lunch, biblical answers to some of the previous questions will be offered followed by baseball work on the offensive aspect of the game.Lots of swings will be taken with professional feedback. The goal is to help each young man build confidence in his swing. The afternoon session will conclude with an offensive competition and a closing meeting for parents and campers. This truly is a unique opportunity and one that will benefit all.
